Making use of the IP protocol NDI, established as a quasi standard by NewTek, HMS is taking another important step in the transition process of its products and services towards IP based technologies. This also creates a foundation for integrating HMS products with interconnected production workflows. The license free NDI protocol is supported by many manufacturers and enables sending as well as receiving high quality content with low latency between NDI enabled devices over LAN.

The following HMS products and solutions are currently supporting the NDI protocol:

With the extension, any NDI enabled graphic system can be connected to the Channel-in-a-Box Automation DiSA. Also the upcoming support for Aspen, SMPTE 2022-6/7 and SMPTE 2110 will additionally extend the power of our IP technology.
