AdFlow is our product for Ad Insertion, which offers TV broadcasters and service providers new opportunities to generate advertising revenue by offering local companies additional advertising space. In cooperation with leading advertising marketers, audiences in different regions can be reached with individual advertising content.
The functionality of ADFLOW is based on the SCTE-104 and -35 standards, in which the splicing markers contained in a supplied program signal are first recognized and analyzed by our system. The selected parts of the original program are then replaced by other contents. The selection of the new content is automated by an ad server based on corresponding campaign data.
In this way, several variants can be created from an original program, e.g. by playing specific content for individual geographical regions. This allows the following use cases:
The splicing mechanism ensures that new content is seamlessly inserted into the original input signal. The new content is automatically selected based on pre-configured campaign data.
All video files to be used for replacement are automatically transcoded into a suitable file format in advance. This eliminates the need for re-encoding and the new content can be directly inserted into the output signal.
At the end of the replacement time frame, AdFlow automatically switches back to the original input signal.
